I once saw c. 100 people being 'done', as you so eloquently put it, on Margate beach. It was a typical British day, i.e. bloody cold and windy, so I admired the vicar's* stamina to be waist deep in English Channel for that long. It looked like a very African congregation and to be honest, it look like everyone was having a right good time, with music and all sorts going on.

*Priest? Father? MC?...not sure of the terminology.

Doesn't it need to be holy water? It must have taken a lot of devotion to bless the whole sea.

God works in mysterious ways and is not phased by volume of water, salinity, tidal flows or kids urinating just a few feet away, you heathen.
