Not much in the way of description in the advert i admit
Egli laverda Built by Slaters in 1974 as a race bike , raced by Peter Bates at the TT and other races, then converted for the road by Slaters and road registered as 750 Egli Laverda in 1977. Bought from deceased estate having been off the road for 30 years.Bike has been rebuilt to a high standard and runs perfectly , ready to ride ,parade or just collect. I have V5c in my name and registered as Historic no tax or mot required.
Reason for sale riding position for older owner.

I tired to play guess the price before I clicked the link, I was £8k too low.

Nice thing, but I'd have to do something about that seat unit and rear lights.

Price seems a bit high, engine looks like a stock SFC engine rather than a race engine

The frame, a Swiss chap made them for various bikes. Vincents, CBX's too, and probably more. The frame has a design style IIRC, a big single spine.

It used to be someone bought an old bike because it cost less than a new bike, but these days it's just a choice of which you want, because the prices are pretty similar.

I love the look of old Spondon and Egli frames, quality gear. I don't much like that bike though, the wonky eyed Honda clocks do my head in.

I now feel bad - because I have actually been to his gaff. When I was living in Zürich I went there - but I remember him as doing a load of Harley stuff - I had gone on a buell to pick something up.
I should have really know that 😳
