Just had my cell phone, computer & satellite TV doodad all reboot at the same time. They aren't connected to each other at all & there wasn't a power surge.

Just experienced that nerve shattering joy of watching Scotland play England ….. as the 3rd lowest ranked team in the tournament a draw with England is a huge result

I enjoyed that, some problems were engineered for the drama but it may be the most honest farming show I've ever seen.

Got up early. Got tyres fitted to the car. Then collected a garden swing thing for the wife. Assembled it with minimal swearing and no blood letting which is a nice change. Cats are now arguing about who has rights to sit on it. Then looked at the SWMotech plate and Givi Adapter plate, ordered countersunk bolts and spacers which will arrive tomorrow (thank you Amazon).
Dinner tonight is something, wife is doing it as I cooked last night.

Re: What have you done today thread?
OK, so technically yesterday.
Finally did something I've been getting around to for about 5 years....dropped my old Alpinestars jacket off at Hideout Leathers. I'm getting the armour taken out, zips fixed and then having the shoulders and sleeves taken in. I.e. turn it into a 'normal' jacket and not a bike one.
Kate certainly seems to know her stuff, I'd have no hesitation about buying a full set of MTM leathers there. I was pleased to see she didn't measure me, she just had me wear the jacket and then pulled it into shape in various places while drawing on it in silver pen. Proper bespoke fitting like when you get a fancy suit in London

Had to, it was such greasy shit. Truth be told, the dog ate more of it than me.

The place we got them from last time sell really nice tasting ones, they're sort of lemony with oregano. Lush. This one was the worse one I've had in years. It was just greasy, so much so the pitta bread had soaked up a lot of it and turned doughy! It must be bad if you turn your nose up at it when you're pissed!

Re: What have you done today thread?
I might have a doner for lunch when I'm in town, meat (lamb/beef mix) or chicken. I usually use the same cafe, and they're good. Cheap too. Chillis will be in a jar on the side, help yourself.
You can buy pre-packed, cooked doner meat in the supermarkets here, again beef and chicken, so I keep some in the freezer in 100 gram bags. Knock up some sauce, bung in some noodles and a couple of minutes later throw in the meat. With a glass of ayran it's a good lunch.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Spent a couple of hours getting a weeks worth of hardened bugs off the bike. Naked bikes are durty bastrids.
Vulcanet wipes appear to be a good job, especially for fiddly parts. Come this time tomorrow it'll look like I didn't bother.
Off to the nursing home to visit my Da shortly, then later this evening maybe catch up some Motogp.
