Stafford Bike show (a.k.a. Rusty Old Shit show)
Stafford Bike Show is still apparently going ahead on 3rd/4th July despite lockdown not formally ending until later in July. See here:

OK, so all well and good, but the venue historically used (and still in use for this event) is the Staffordshire County Show Ground.
There's only one small problem with that.
The County Show Ground is the major vaccination centre for the Stafford area. How is that going to work?

Who knows how it's going to work, but having been once or twice, most attendees should be shielding, a nicotine stained beard and a beer gut will not protect you, especially when you're in your 70s.

They'll move the vaccination centre (or shut it down for the duration)mangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 9:44 pm Stafford Bike Show is still apparently going ahead on 3rd/4th July despite lockdown not formally ending until later in July. See here:

We got our first vaccines at Epsom race course , but couldn't book our 2nd one there because it was being moved to Sandown to make way for the racing.

I would have thought that a vaccination centre took precedence over a show for motorcyclists, even if they are predominantly old gits smelling of elderberries/wee (delete as appropriate).
It's not exactly Royal Ascot, now is it?
