Post by slowsider »

Anyone familiar with these? Something relating to driving, risk-taking, particularly distraction. .. or a pointer to somewhere to enquire??

IIRC CJ posted about them in a TRC thread, related to employment.

For driving, there is at least one recognised questionairre 'tool' related to risk. Or summat.

Alphabetty spaghetti

Might be that DBQ (behaviour) is more relevant...
findings were consistent with the view that errors and violations are indeed mediated by different psychological mechanisms. Violations require explanation in terms of social and motivational factors, whereas errors (slips, lapses, and mistakes) may be accounted for by reference to the information-processing characteristics of the individual.

Weird, because that text was my starting point, two minutes later the DAQ popped up. Perhaps my Google-Fu is superior today :D

Beware!

Some psychometric tests are massively researched, sometimes contraversial, but academically sound.

And some are pure snake oil.

If it is free be VERY wary.

FWIW I have no knowledge of either of the DAQ or DBQ.

No. Wanky electropop nonsense.

But good reference though ;)
