Re: utterly random picture thread.
On this day, June the 14th, in 1987, a group of hired labourers carried 700 old hospital beds onto Saunton Sands in Devon, England for a photo shoot by photographer Storm Thorgerson.
Carefully arranged they were to form the cover to the iconic Pink Floyd album 'A momentary lapse of reason'
Despite meticulous planning the weather intervened, with rain forcing the shoot to be abandoned, the exercise was repeated two weeks later.
By coincidence 1987 was also the year that Photoshop was first developed (although it wasn't marketed until 1988) fast forward a few years and thanks to Photoshop and other graphic handling/manipulation programmes we are unlikely to ever see the likes of this epically staged photo shoot again.

A mate is a 'background actor' (ie extra) on TV and film. Large crowd scenes are now often achieved by moving the extras around, then 'cut and paste'.Taipan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 10:24 am

Same bloke who bodges his hair, I reckon.
He's one of life's unfortunate people who, no matter the cut of a suit, will always look like he's brushed himself in glue and run through Mister Byright with his eyes shut.

Must be a world leaders thing - not one of them get's it right.
Not quite sure how Justin Trudeau (far left) manages to get everything else so right but still messes up his troos

That's debatable - look at Charles Michel, 2nd left, with Mr Bean's pants on.
But they all have the crotch at the right height, except Bozzer.
