Thanks for your reply, but I think you missed my point from my earlier email. Under my Consumers Rights I just need to deal with you as the retailer that sold me the equipment.
As the retailer, you must fix/repair, exchange or give a full refund on anything that has a defect or fault where the item would be expected to last at least 6 years, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please ask your manager to read this if he is still not clear. This law stands, regardless of any stated Manufacturer warranty.
I don't mind if you (the dealer) or they (the manufacturer) pay for the repair, as long as it gets done.
So, in short, if you (the dealer) cannot get them (the manufacturer) to change their mind, then you will need to arrange the repair at your own cost.
