Decided against buying one but then KFB posted about his one
And for £50 I can live with that only seeing the light of day every other year or so!

Anyone want the best polisher ever to try out? It's not just a polisher, it's an Aldi polisher. Free to the first person who wants it, PM me.

It comes with a couple of cloth covers that I assume you smear with compound then use them to damage the paint. :banana-wrench:

Tried that, as well as a glass polishing compound I have. No joy.

I think I need to get in with ever-decreasing coarseness W&D and then use the polishing stuff.

It's gonna get messy.
Are you sure the yellow is just on the surface and not all the way through?
You can feel it as you rub your finger over it, so assuming its surface. It's not actually that bad and you struggle to see it at any sort of distance. I only noticed it as I was tidying up the engine bay with the bonnet lifted.

Currently it's only on the top edges of one light, so not too bad, but if I can tackle it now, it's the proverbial stitch in time.
I did SWMBO SAAB a couple of years ago.
Started with 2000# wetndry and then polished off with 5000#, then a polish over with some farecla scratch remover paste.
Bit of Mr Sheen every now and again, job jobbed
