Small point of order - govt is appointed, not elected - they serve at the PMs whim. He was indeed not elected to parliament, but when does Boris take advice from MPs ?

I'm enjoying it. I said all along he was a lying worm and Boris's Machiavellian puppeteer. He either lied then or hes lying now - so either way he's a bang to rights fibber. And if he ever had any integrity, that's gone with the wind now too - he should have kept schtum. I think what I find funny and the reason for my post is that I follow a lot of left leaning people on Twitter. Musicians tend to be more likely left wing. And for ages Dominic would pop up as the worst kind of liar and satan. In the last 24 hours it's been like Rick from the Young Ones hailing the peoples poet. He's become a saint overnight. And the funniest thing is when challenged on it the posters are responding with 'but this has the ring of truth to it'....or what they mean is 'but we agree with what he is saying so he is telling the truth now'

The bloke is a cockwomble and you wouldn't trust him with anything. He's that manager in the office who gets to the top by having the sharpest back stabbing knifes and a well thumbed copy of the how to get in with the bosses book

He's a bit of a weasel and thats been pretty obvious for ages, he does seem to be getting flak from another quarter now he's criticising the government and its highly amusing to see the people who staunchly defended him a while ago do an about turn.
But the fact that he's a fairly obvious liar does also say something about the people who hired and protected him not so long ago.

Quarantine was imposed on 273 arrivals from Wuhan in China while travellers from other parts of China, Iran and Northern Italy were asked to isolate voluntarily for 14 days.

A study from Imperial College later found that a third of Covid transmission had come from Spain and 29% from France (neither of which faced restrictions), with hardly any coming from China.

If Quarantine and isolation were imposed on China and restrictions on other 'hot' countries then surely you'd not be surprised that of the cases that did appear, most weren't from the countries you have restrictions against?
