''Chrome'' plating plastic parts

Sounds straight forward -

I've some new tank badges for the Harley but they need a bright chrome finish. They are a baker light / hard plastic material and I've heard of a plating process that will give them a bright chrome finish. Have asked several specialist spray painters but the finish is slightly dull ( and more like brushed silver )
Have seen various spray tins on the internet but they ain't cheap ( £50 ) and dubious finishes.

Anyone know anyone - and obviously are they open at the moment ?

Not done it myself but on another forum i use i have seen many things 'rapped' in vinyl
with a chrome finish. You could buy some chrome vinyl off EBay and give it a go, i am
sure there would be plenty of tutorials on Youtube.

Cheers Guys have mailed both tonight so I'll let u know how I get on - it's certainly the finish / process I want. Did have a chat with a TD rider about wrapping them but they are too small and too many fiddly bits to make it work. He just wanted to do the tank instead !

Next job is to strip and service the front forks, unfortunately the bike tends to have a mind of its own on long sweeping corners - totally disregarding the sat nav and and any instructions from me. It's a know problem with them.
