With the 890 it was defo more shady as you say cos it was free on the lower spec model. But I don't think KTM have much shame about it :thumbdown:

Maybe. But that's exactly what they do, along with everyone else. Like I say, it's often better disguised by car companies because they tend to have multiple models - an 'S' model might have heated seats, DAB radio, voice control and an extra 50bhp for £3k extra, where the cost to them is an 'S' badge on the bootlid. It's fairly normal for hardware like heated seat elements to exist in all models as it's easier/cheaper than configuring twice. And you're likely to have the icon for voice control on the stalk whether it's enabled or not.
