Decathlon Waterproofs ????

Post by Yorick »

We never bother with rain gear here and none of the shops sell them. We're off to Spain for a couple of weeks soon so it's a good idea to take waterproofs. The only place to buy here, seems like Decathlon.
Don't need to be mega, as we'll just stop for the night if the rain comes.

Any experience or recommendations ?

I've a set of the cheapest jacket and trous that Decathlon did at the time, about £15 all in.

I wore them over my leathers on the Outfit. They did a good job at keeping the rain out and all my sweat in :)

Yeah I have some cheap decathlon rain troos. They were ok for a quick shower.

I use these Quechua jobbies for wet weather walking. They've kept me dry in some really bad wind and rain.

I use a light jacket of the same make on shitty days. 100% dry.

Not that I purposely ride in the rain any more, but in times past I've wished bike gear could be as effective for about 40 quid for each item.

Here you go, me having a little lay down in my waterproofs :)

They were a bit 'boil in the bag'. I've got a proper Dainese rain suit now, but I've never worn it.
