Not until Saturday, the oldies are popping over as we've not seen each other since last August, and we're all jabbed up anyway so why not.

Many many pints of local cider shall be consumed https://www.thefountainoldwood.co.uk/

I can now eat my lunch inside the canteen at work, which is better than eating in the office.

I think if I had the preference and the weather plays ball I rather stay outside. The pub I went to Sat had an awesome upmarket circus tent type thing and it was great.

I find the tent/gazebo things REALLY noisy... MAybe that's more me than them, but i'm not feeling them at all.

I'd rather have a secluded table even if it's a bit chilly etc..

I'd rather stay at home, buy expensive ingredients and cook them myself, a friend of mine trained as a chef at the savoy and taught me the trick to getting decent food at a restaurant, look at the menu and work out what they "can't fuck up too much" (his words), when eating out I've followed this advice and my restaurant experience has improved massively.

This was much better than the other pubs I've tried. One of our locals has a shitty little gazebo thing and it's pants. This place had nice heaters, blankets/sheepskins and was almost cozy

You know what - on Wednesday, I don't care if it's snowing up here or raining down in the valley, I'm sodding well going to get food or drink from a cafe and sit outside and enjoy it!!

Will be bliss when we can sit inside. By then, most of the people I want to catch up with will have had their two jabs. So whilst we'll still be careful, it will be so cool

But then, I live in a caravan sized apartment on my own!! LOL I do actually miss people!! Never thought I'd say that!!

Weather here is miserable mate :angry-cussingblack: picked the kids up from school and got soaked with hailstones the size of small marbles, absolutely hacked it down and on skin they bloody stung. In the space of 10 mins there were rivers of water everywhere and gardens and roofs were semi white with hail :obscene-birdiedoublered:

It's been snowing on and off all day here. The garage are taking off the winter tyres tomorrow - hope the snow continues NOT to settle on the road!!!

I've been to a few cafe's and one chain restaurant but going out on Friday to a local hotel for a proper meal.

I was booked in weeks ago but they kept cancelling because they were having trouble getting staff back. I think this is their third try.

Poor buggers won't even make money out of me because I've got vouchers I got given last March. They expired in August but fortunately they are honouring them anyway.

Going to a long-overdue PFL* with Mrs Gremlin next Friday at Novikov Asian. Plus, I've booked a table for Saturday week in a pub and restaurant. Get me!

*Proper Fucking Lunch.
