Casual Motorcycle Jackets
Thinking about buying a jacket to wear with jeans on a bike, I'm currently using a Bering jacket that I've had for 15 years, which is alright but a bit old and baggy.
Not sure what I want so make suggestions - needs to be protective and look good on a 30 year old bike, that's about it really spec wise.
I'll respond with what I like and don't like about jackets until I see something I like.

Re: Casual Motorcycle Jackets
I have a Triumph Raven 2 I wear when the weather improves. It's for I want to look windswept, rugged and mysterious. But It's been discontinued, I think. Probably because Danny Dyer bought the last one, looking at the photos in the link.

I quite like that apart from the distressed look and the Triumph logo.

Re: Casual Motorcycle Jackets
I picked up an Oxford one from Sportsbikeshop last year, looks like a short wax jacket but has all the usual bike jacket protection.

And the fact that Gremlin and Danny Dyer wear one doesn’t exactly sell it well ...Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:54 pm I quite like that apart from the distressed look and the Triumph logo.

Not for me, but it could just be the somewhat "camp" poses by the modelsMrLongbeard wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 3:47 pm EngineHawk

Also I don't want Engine Hawk emblazoned across me, it's a bit too close to Street Hawk

Bought one of these in brown.... it was WAY more than that when i bought it and an absolute BARGAIN at that price... i'm actually tempted to buy in olive just because it's cool and i love the jacket

Re: Casual Motorcycle Jackets
I've got a dark brown Dainese Mike, but it'll be a bit too hipster for you.

Re: Casual Motorcycle Jackets
Both Weeksy's and KFB's suggestions are a little too hipster, Weeksy's is a bit too military looking, KFBs a bit too casual (yes I know I said I wanted a casual jacket), I don't think I'm young enough or tall enough to get away with either, and would look way to middle aged man in them.

Re: Casual Motorcycle Jackets
I like this
https://www.motolegends.com/jackets/hel ... brown.html
RST have some vanilla looking jackets on SBS that are around £150 and AAA rated. They also have some really nice ones for £300 that are A rated No idea what rating that Held is.
I usually really like Furygan leather jackets but none really floating my boat at the min. Kate at Hideout seems to rate the quality of Furygan and Held too.

They only have it in XXXXL, there's enough material in that to make a big top tent, good jobs its not leather you'd look like a hippo.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 4:22 pm I almost bought one of these...
