Is Bozo bankrupt?
Seems that there is much more to come out about Bloody Stupid Johnson and his finances - No 10 seeks to cancel county court debt judgment against Boris Johnson
Downing Street is seeking to cancel a county court judgment against Prime Minister Boris Johnson that cites an unpaid bill of £535.
The order was made against Mr Johnson, of 10 Downing Street, on 26 October, according to a judgment database.
The creditor and nature of the debt, which was first reported by Private Eye magazine, is not yet known.
A Downing Street spokesperson said the claim against the PM was without merit.
....on being asked whether there should be concerns about the prime minister's personal finances, Mr Johnson's press secretary said: "You should not be concerned, no."
Hmmm.

Well, morally we already know about.
Financially, we'll have to see. However, it speaks volumes that No10 have taken just a few hours from outright dismissal of the story to trying to get the court judgement cancelled. Speaks volumes, that does.

What seems strange (and rather worrying) is that a case can get to County Court without the person being sued being aware of it. It isn't rife, but I have come across it before in CA and it is not a good ad for British justice.

How does County Court compare to CPS - eg do you have to have sufficient evidence for a success to get it on the books?Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 8:01 pm What seems strange (and rather worrying) is that a case can get to County Court without the person being sued being aware of it. A case can, or a case has?Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 8:01 pm What seems strange (and rather worrying) is that a case can get to County Court without the person being sued being aware of it.
Asked if Number 10 had only become aware of the judgement when it was first reported earlier on Wednesday, the spokesman said it was something they are "looking into currently".

Re: Is Bozo bankrupt?
To be sued in a CC you should have to be served notice of the claim, and have time to respond, ie deny or counter claim. If you don't respond at all, and don't turn up, they win by default.

The Batley by-election on 22nd June (?) looks almost certain to reinforce the Hartlepool result. Don't think the electorate give a flying fuck about wallpapergate, ccjgate, or any other 'gate' for that matter.Potter wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 4:45 am Lol, this is clutching at straws now.
I had one from years ago when I moved, there was an outstanding bill that I didn't know about, I left a forwarding address but they never bothered trying to reach me and I ended up with a CCJ for £72.
I only found out when I applied for a different credit card and it was refused, I did a credit search, then got in touch and paid it. It's dropped off now because it was years ago.
I'll let my boss know tomorrow that I'm financially and morally bankrupt
As long as the left keep pursuing this cry-baby line of whining the majority of voters will keep rolling their eyes and vote them back to oblivion.
Even Hartlepool are sick of it
But these boots, now that's another matter - what is seen cannot be unseen.

Re: Is Bozo bankrupt?
The opposition played a wrong move when they questioned his conversation with James Dyson in trying to get his team back to make ventilators by exempting them from any possible tax liabilities. Whereas Labour saw shady backdoor deals, I think most of the proles agreed that desperate times (and let's be fair, they were quite desperate) call for desperate measures and it simply reinforced his credentials as a maverick who gets things done.*

"Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson"
That's a corker of a moniker.

Yeah Labour, roll another one like this out just before the forthcoming Batley and Spen by-election, it will go down just as well.
