Just post more pictures of your bikes, that'll do it :D ;)
The FZ got complimented at least twice today, the photo is from 3 years ago
Were you in the pub drinking Scrumpy?
Its a 30 odd year old bike, the fact its still in use isn't bad.

Ooh you bitch, no took it the dodgy back street dealer for an MOT because the normal place couldn't fit it in, they then proceeded to give it the most stringent MOT I've had in years, even though I knew someone who worked there, I didn't know he worked there until today.

I haven't been in a pub since 2019
Sometimes the dodgy backstreet testers are the ones who know they're being watched by "the man" so they take no chances.
Since the system went online, The Man is watching them all. TM knows the typical problems for different makes and models, etc., so can identify likely rogue testers.
Even bland can be a type of character

Talking of dodgy testers - I've got a friend who did MOT testing. A guy came in with a bike which failed on something, he went away and came back the same day with it repaired. My friend only tested the part that had failed and issued an MOT. It was a sting and he was heavily fined for not re-testing the whole bike.

Seems a bit weird...

I thought they only had to test the failed items on a retest as long as it is either done on same day (limited list of faults) or on a partial retest within 10 days

A partial retest is where only the items that you vehicle failed on during the full MOT test are examined.

I think its got something do do with them taking it away to do it. Don't take it as gospel cos... well.... gospel is bollocks anyway but I've been told that if the repair is done at the test centre that day they can only test the repared bit but if its taken away to do it for some reason it needs a full retest.

I didn’t appreciate this place had moderators. I remember years ago there was a proper fued in a forum between members ( not bikes, I’m not talking about you, narcissists 😀 ) because so and so wanted to be a mod.

Anyway- proper daft. Not as daft as abusing the volunteers who do it though- that’s just sad.

I’ve never seen any threads on here which looked as if they needed to be moderated.

Which I suppose is a tribute to the mods
