Same as last time,the sore arm kicked in last evening,no big deal.
I had a night of crazy ass dreams and woke a few times with flu like aches and pains. I still felt a bit rough this morning,but it all passed by lunch time. So for me a few more side effects from the second dose than the first.

If a mask bothers you try using a faceshield. Unless of course you're really special.
Not wearing one. I couldn't give a fuck if others keep wearing theirs. I was out at Willow last Saturday & only saw one person wearing one. Ditto at the RS the weekend before.
It’s uncanny that on a forum where you’re reasonably familiar with the posters you always know what some posters attitude will be on certain subjects long before they post their opinion.

It's a little bit funny that the anti maskers are focussing on how weak and feeble the masked are, and how much they seem to be 'enjoying the pandemic'. Who writes this stuff?

I know how vaccines work, I didn't have to wear a fucking mask after I got any other vaccine. Latest CDC *guidelines* are yet another clusterfuck. I don't have to wear one if I'm outside with a bunch of other people, but I do if I'm indoors with fewer people? Who comes up with this crap?
And now unvaccinated people don't have to wear one outside either? Why the fuck not? The fucking story changes every goddamn week.

The guidance is changing all the time because of 'science', it's not a conspiracy, compliance is just something we have to do to get through this.
I wore a mask in town today. It was shit and I still feel a twat a year in and probably very likely I wasn't going to pass anything on because (a) I've been vaccinated (b) I've been f2f with literally 6 people in a year. But I do it because if everyone does there's a slim chance I'll get to see family over the summer.

Plus, the jab isn't effective immediately. So anyone who thinks that they can abandon all precautions immediately may not know as much as they think they do.

People are considered protected two weeks after they take the final dose of their vaccine, the CDC said.
But they should continue to:
Avoid non-essential travel and large crowds
Continue to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing in public
The CDC said there was still a risk vaccinated people could spread the disease to the unvaccinated, as data on this remains sparse. The new guidelines in particular call for mask wearing and distancing from those who are unvaccinated and may be at an elevated risk of serious Covid-related complications.
That ain't what they said yesterday... They absolutely said unvaccinated people can mix with those of us who have been & that neither of us have to wear a mask. You're giving me grief for not wearing a mask when they don't have to? Where the fuck is the sense in that??
