Killer and widowmaker titles are about 90% journalistic hyperbolic wank.
Often a bike with the widowmaker title by journos is some bloke named Freds ride to work bike.

The 1100Ks did have quite adjustable suspension for its day so it was possible for some berk to wally factor nine the whole deal.

IIRC you could get different length dogbones/suspension link arms to raise the rear slightly and get em to turn a bit sharper. Was supposed to be a better option than dropping the yokes.

I've dropped the yokes a few mm on my 750 K and after about a month of me riding it like a right fanny I got on fine with it.

I've looked at Busa's too.

for me it's one of those bikes to own before you die, I dunno about this time, but deffo at some point.

I've also never seen a tall Busa rider. They seem to max out at 5'3".... it's almost like they have something to prove

Shorter dogbones lifts the rear, gives a wee bit more ground clearance.

Ironically one of the few ways to wreck an oil cooled GSXR motor is to ride it to work, the chap I brought mine off rode it a mile each way and it emulsified the oil and killed the bottom end.

Depends how far your ride to work is dunnit.
Plus, thats not an ussue unique to oil cooled GSXRs, pretty much any fourstroke won't like lots of short slow journeys where they don't have time to get the oil good and hot.

But, yeah, I get your point.

That does look nice and it's not crazy money. Playing devil's advocate I'd worry slightly It'd be more likely to slip me a thousand pound crippler bill than a comparable Japanese bike but I think that's pretty unlikely.

Edit - just went through the pics again and it does look good. Same seller as the 1100M IRC. Looks like they have some nice bikes.
