Curious, we've just seen the one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in the UK, innocent normal people bankrupted and at least one suicide, and we're obsessing over some wallpaper.

Yes, the criminal justice system seemed to forget what the word “evidence” means. And the Post Office appears to have acted in an evil way.

I can’t help thinking the sacked and publicly despised advisor and the BBC are attacking while rather lightly armed. After all, who owns the flat that Boris is alleged to have “corruptly” redecorated?

I told Boris what I thought of him in 2003, my thoughts haven't changed, so what do I want his mobile number for?

You don't believe thats what its about do you?
For me its about systemic corruption and lobbying.

Obviously thats not a new thing and Blair seemed fairly involved as well but I didn't like it then either.

Some people might not like the wallpaper though, dunno.

Not the Post Office, the people in charge of the Post Office acted in an evil way.

The leader of the opposition does though.

Yeah systematic corruption, I live in Scotland and we have the SNP and the sex pest party to vote for next week.

It’s possible that Salmond is a sexual predator in a non-corrupt way, to be fair.

I’ll vote Tory.

So far I've not seen any evidence that Salmond was corrupt, just a fucking creep.

Not entirely sure which is better, I guess a creep is smaller scale (the people they have access to) but corruption can affect the entire country.

Read up on the ferry farce. Short notice loans etc to an SNP supporter who just happened to own a failing shipyard in Glasgow, that was later nationalised. That's some financial corruption.

Moral corruption is just as bad. If you forget a memo telling you previous boss and mentor was a creep what else have you forgotten. Some of it might be slightly important.

I suppose what I'm whining about is the general lack of options for decent humans in politics And TBF I'd rather my life wasn't raked over by people with an agenda. Still, all torries are vermin, orange man bad and all that.

Unfortunately politics is a nasty game, played by crooks and cheats, usually rich ones. It seems to be so in most countries, democratic, communist, or just plain anarchic.

Sadly, I'm sure there's still a lot of people will vote for them.
