What bike?
The thread you've all been waiting for. The cash is in the bank and the Guzzi is going in a van at 8am tomorrow morning.
Everyone can suggest a bike and I'll ignore you all and buy what I wanted in the first place. While offering ridiculous excuses as to why your suggestion was unsuitable.
What you got for up to £6k?

Re: What bike?
You can have my ST1050 for 6k. It's not worth that or doubt you'd want it anyway but it's your first offer

If you need to ask why, you've never ridden one

Re: What bike?
They are on the list, looks like they've started going back up, I'm sure they were a lot cheaper than they are now last time I looked.

Re: What bike?
Of course it depends what you want it for, but assuming you want something different than the Enfield and big red barge, and it's a spritelyKungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:08 pmThey are on the list, looks like they've started going back up, I'm sure they were a lot cheaper than they are now last time I looked.
thing with the emphasis on having that mix of enough power and light enough to make you giggle every time you ride it then yeah, for me it would be an SD (SDR ideally) R, V2 Tuono factory or 790 Duke
THe 790 would win out of those three for me, but I think you're a lanky fecker so guessing one of the other two may suit you better
If it were more sensible money, it would actually be this (I reckon 5-6k is more the mark rather what he's asking), but not interested at that price

Re: What bike?
I wanted a V2 Tuono a couple of years back, the pegs are high. REALLY high. Put me off a bit. Maybe I should look again, although I do actually prefer the older shape one.Tricky wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:50 pmOf course it depends what you want it for, but assuming you want something different than the Enfield and big red barge, and it's a spritelyKungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:08 pmThey are on the list, looks like they've started going back up, I'm sure they were a lot cheaper than they are now last time I looked.

Re: What bike?
I like the XR1200, but they're too spendy. I quite like the Buells too, but that thread about Savio's put me off a bit.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:46 pm One for Tai

Re: What bike?
I know the Slabby's are supposed to be the best handling and most collectable, but they do nothing for me.
