Those mirrors come in handy when the lanes are (minimum) 12ft wide & you're *merging* across 6 or more lanes from one freeway to another at Warp Factor Stupid on sometime with the same HP as a ZZR11 & is 100lb lighter
Or were you errrrming about the flag?

Can you not turn your head? I'd have to make a conscious effort to NOT look over my shoulder when merging, even in the car.
