I started racing in 1982 with Dave Crampton and Andy Simmons (RIP). Sharing a trailer and later a van. Great pals.

Just got a text from Dave to say he's at Cadwell testing for coming race season.

Dozen old twonk :banana-dance:

He was seniors Euro endurance champ a couple of years ago.

Selling something on eBay for 1p.

Pair of sliding wardrobe doors and runners. They were in my utility room to create a cupboard for the boiler along with mops, buckets and assorted household bits. New boiler, with additional tank, meant they couldn't go back.

On eBay for a penny start, some bloke bids and wins, he's happy as Larry as they're just what he needed, I'm happy as I don't have to take perfectly good stuff down the tip for want of a new owner.

Win-win.

One of Pen's mates is starting a life art class and said I'd make a good model as I have a good body.
Nice compliment from a girl 20+ years younger than me

It takes a whole dishwasher load to make a bacon/egg butty? :wtf:
Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

Use dishes, put them in the dishwasher, turn it on.
It might take until tomorrow lunch time to fill a whole dishwasher and then it will be stinking, what sort of animal are you?
You might have (deliberately?) missed the point I was trying to (amusingly) make.

Or maybe not. ;)

Never forget, that what an artist considers a 'good body' can be rather different to the perceived norms... ;)

It's a living. The ability to keep still for long periods is more important than the body IME.

3 days off now after 15 shifts in a row with one day off in the middle of that!
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

My wife's MX5 not clogging up the shed any more, it can sit out side unused for the summer and then go back into the shed for the winter.
