A bit over priced seeing as you can get a 2021 model with more ponies for only £3459.00 Little has changed in its evolution.
I wonder what it cost new?
The dealer is also selling a Repsol Fireblade.

For once, the lines of the seat unit blend with the fairing and tank.derek badger wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 8:29 am Like the paint scheme and the looks...apart from that tail unit. Bleauuuurgh.
I like it. I'm not emptying the piggy bank, but I'd certainly stop and admire it if I passed it on the street. I think a nice sunny day might have done the photos some favours too.

And from someone who works at the dealer. I would be somewhat worried about the longevity of V4 motors ..weeksy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 7:10 am https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-PANIG ... Swa1NgbK-B

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
I'm surprised a sales manager at a bike shop can afford to throw a V4 out and buy another V4 so he can finish the remainder of his trackdays.Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:52 amAnd from someone who works at the dealer. Maybe in the 1970's when bike were flying out of the showroom but I wonder what a PAYE sales manager earns now in a bike shop?

I'd do something different with the seat unit but that's really nice otherwise.

Surprised that someone who's allegedly sales manager for a Ducati franchise will be popular for going on record as saying its a premature engine fault......Potter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:08 amI'm surprised a sales manager at a bike shop can afford to throw a V4 out and buy another V4 so he can finish the remainder of his trackdays.Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:52 amAnd from someone who works at the dealer. Maybe using the shops "demo" bike for trackdays, just tell hq that the test riders ragged it to death and blag a new one for the shop?v8-powered wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:47 amSurprised that someone who's allegedly sales manager for a Ducati franchise will be popular for going on record as saying its a premature engine fault......Potter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:08 amI'm surprised a sales manager at a bike shop can afford to throw a V4 out and buy another V4 so he can finish the remainder of his trackdays.

They all do if they're raced and not regularly rebuilt.
They're not built to last forever if they're ridden hard.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
It has had a rear end shunt too, so could have been running on it's side for a while or suffered some other damage that didn't present itself until a year of trackdays later.
