It's amazing the lengths we go to to kill people. There is an excellent Merlin engine design and build on YouTube, all that creative effort just for killing. The numbers they built. All the factories. It's the quality that astounds me, an aircraft engine might last only a week but it is built to last 100 years.

I'm afraid that for me it means that when I see all the war memorial events all I can see is the stupidity of it. Without WW2 I wonder what the planet would be like today.
