Covid Vaccine Side Effects

Any one else had them, I had the Astrazeneca vaccine on Friday and now I feel like I've got Flu, not Man Flu, proper Flu, I haven't been this ill since 1999 when I got proper flu.

I was nauseous within an hour of having it, developed into a monster headache and then proper flu symptoms following day.. bit ropey / tired headachy for a couple of days after that

I had a banging headache the following day

I felt washed out the next day.

My wife felt the same but it took her a few days to recover.

My Son in law was off work for nearly a week. He felt terrible and nearly passed out at one point. He had holidays due so just took the rest of the week off rather than struggle.

Glad I'm not the only one, my wife had it from the same batch as me and has been fine

My wife had the jab on Saturday, did not go into work on the Monday, but was fine by Tuesday. Some flu symptoms. AZ jab does that. I had a Pfizer one back in Jan and just had a sore shoulder/arm for two days.

Not sure if it's a thing, but plenty of water and paracetamol before you go for jab seems to help some. Can't do any harm.

No, but I'll amend my will so that it's yours after I did of these horrible side effects, just getting dressed has made me dizzy, I'm feeling a bit pathetic

I had mine about 6 weeks ago, sore arm and cold like symptoms, wife had hers Fri and has been knocked sideways

I had the AstraZeneca on a Saturday afternoon about a month ago. It was back to normal by Monday morning, able to stand still modelling for 20 minutes, but the intervening time was most spent dozing and hallucinating. I didn't take any medication to lessen the symptoms as I reckoned a stronger immune response was better and worth the unpleasantness.

My wife has had both her Pfizer jabs and had no side effects at all.

I had mine 3 weeks ago, no side effects. Women seem to suffer more than men, therefore the greater the side effects the more girly you are.
