I guess that's because they've used the front end off an MX bike for off-road capability and therefore only had brake mounts on one fork leg.

I suppose it won't matter off road, but getting there on a 140bhp bike and a dinky single disc could be interesting. Not one for trackdays!

145 horse on a heavy bike offroad would get old pretty fast. It's supposed to be setup to compete in some offroad race?

On a forum I use there was a desert racer who used to sell off his slightly worn racebikes.
I bought a few semi trick aftermarket parts off his mechanic when he flogged some spares off.
IIRC he only did it a couple of times and they werent that expensive, from memory it was something like $6000 (more than I had down the back of the sofa and especially when postage from Arizona was factored in).
There would have been a few trick engine parts (Varner ported cylinder, and blueprinted and balanced engine to reduce vibration.
Frame braced at any point where cracks develop when hammered by pro level riders and a loop walded on to protect the waterpump.
132.5mm or 133mm slightly longer than standard suspension dogbones to get em to turn a bit better.
Radiators tig welded on any seams and a few other bits I can't remember.
Anyway, this is one of them, doesn't look much but the factory Kawasakis were clocked at 118 on a section with long straights. Fairly hossing on for an ancient motocrosser more or less the same from 90-2005.

Hauling a 100 kilo 65-70 maybe horsepower bike from a max speed of just shy of 120 with a single disc would be a damn site easier than whatever that weighs and whatever top whack its capable of. Even with a bigger disc.
And yes, I do have a one track mind with bikes, guilty as charged.

I like the paint job, but the faux off road thing spoils the base bike.

As soon as you say "overweight single sided offroader" the GS immediately leaps out as the obvious candidate doesn't it? And what could be more serious off road than the Paris-Dakar?

Like I said you can make most things work if you try. BMW certainly manage it!

I strongly suspect the builders of the OP aren't trying that hard to actually make it work though.
