£4k Bimota
Would you?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-BIMOTA- ... Sw6lZgV51u
I don't think I would.
It needs some fixing and it's Cat N.
In ok condition it's probably worth £6kish, if you could fix it cheap enough, you were in the paint trade, etc.. it might be worth a punt.
But it's still a hand made, limited edition, rare Italian, superbike for £4k.
I'd like to have owned a Bimota before my dying day, but I'm not sure it's that one.

It should look like this...
but yeah, it's not the prettiest Bimota, but it's still special.

Re: £4k Bimota
A friend of mine has at least 3 Bimotas, an SB6, an SB7 and an EXUP engined one with a silly name, he had another SB6 that had been street fightered (not by him) but I think he's sold it, I wouldn't' own any of them, they're all pigs to work on, have poor bodywork and generally not that great close up.
Sadly I can't tell you what they're like to ride because he won't let me have a go on any of them.

The photo and paintjob do it no favours, but at 4k it'd be a no from me.

Re: £4k Bimota
I was tempted by a friends SB6, beautiful to look at but not so impressive to ride - harsh suspension (could probably been dialled in I guess) but the vibes from the engine through the frame were bad. Then there was the access to the engine to do anything, ended up giving it a swerve.
