Battery question

Post by Supermofo »

Just opened my new battery from Wemoto and noticed this, likely to be ok?

I can't push it down anymore.

Just charging anyway on the trickle charger before putting it on the bike and can hear faint bubbling. Never listened to a battery before. Is that normal?

The note on the box said filled and fully charged on 12th March, its been on bulk charge now for about 20 odd mins, expected it to go straight to maintain high my old battery did when pretty much fully charged

I'd definitely query that with Wemoto, and email them that picture. And I'd also expect a new and recently charged battery to come up to full charge within a minute or so.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

Just charged my old battery which funnily enough went straight to maintain in 30 secs (could be cos it's knackered?) and no fizzing/bubbling noise.

Contacted Wemoto and will send them the pic when they reply.
