So now you can't ride because you lied to your wife ?formula400 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 2:26 pmI told the wife I was replacing the road lid
she said no, use the mtb one
I said its too old to use for the road
she said ok, you need to get a new one then.
it was the easiest way for her let let me get a new lid now and not in 2 months time.

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
At last, I've managed to get out on the MTB. It feels like I haven't ridden for 6 months, because I haven't and confidence is loooooow
the good thing is that the trail pixies have been very very busy, the trails are awesome and I've just ridden 5 that I've never ridden before
and I found this tree, It must be the biggest tree I've ever seen

If I'm in the county then game on, however, we are looking at heading to south wales visiting family for a few days. we'll have to see how that particular date pans out but we can certainly do a weekend sometime after
edit - high command has just told me that if we do go up to wales it will be on the 12th

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
Pretty sure I'll have ridden it. Is it the grassy one or the chalky one?
Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
Fairly sure it was grass:

Day off so pedal it is. Nice little ride though the lanes of sometimes sunny Shropshire. Lunch at Walcot weir. Back to nature.

Re: 2021, riding mileage and updates
21 mile road ride today on the MTB in 1 Hr 29min . Makes a change for it not to be pissing down with rain or blowing a hooly. Finally hit that time of year that the winter thermal top is just about too warm now so change coming to the thinner one for Spring riding and back to summer fingerless gloves
