Looks alright, but I'm not a fan of Rickman bodywork

That's fine, I can't complain about the exhaust on the Rickman, as I've got the same exhaust on my Z, I actually like most of the bike apart from the oil cooler lines (they'll easily go over the top of the engine and they run cooler like this) and the shape of the tank/seat, but the only reason I don't like the tank and seat is because I'm a big fan of the original Kawasaki bodywork, the Rickman frame is massively superior to the Kawasaki one.weeksy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:04 amOne day you'll do this type of thread and i'm going to pull your choice apartLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 8:56 am Looks alright, but I'm not a fan of Rickman bodywork

MCN ran a competition in the 70s. It was for an S&S tuned Rickman Z1.
Man,I needed that bike so bad it hurt. It was way beyond my meagre apprentice wages, but I could dream.
I too hate the oil cooler lines all over the side of the engine. Messy.
They were some tool in their day.

I bet that Vance and Hines open pipe is bloody loud but other than that I generally like it.

That fairing looks like a 1970s police bike.

I think I like this more than most of the other bike that you've posted recently, and I think that's because this is not trying to be 'perfect' or 'factory'
I like that bits like the oil pipes and the fuel filter look a bit clumsy but they're functional and doing their job

I can't remember much of the 70s as I was just a young pup.Skub wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:21 pmYou had to be there maaan,it was real.demographic wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:15 pm Yeah, err... actually fark No

I do however remember fancying Blondie in 1978 so even at six years old I had good taste.

With the baffle in they're not that loud, with the baffle out they're LOUD, but not as loud as a Kerker which has bigger downpipes and bigger tailpipe, even with the baffle in a Kerker is offensive.demographic wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:03 pm I bet that Vance and Hines open pipe is bloody loud but other than that I generally like it.
