Different clicky stuff, one is pushy pushy, one pushy fiddly.
Depends which you like yourself.
Some say Shimano more reliable, some say SRAM better. It's a tricky debate.
Once upon a time and for many years, I'd run Shimano, now I run SRAM. Both have good and bad sides.

Too true. I have Shimano 12s, wife has SRAM 12s. I think hers is too 'soft', she thinks mine is too 'clicky'. IYSWIM.weeksy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:36 pmDifferent clicky stuff, one is pushy pushy, one pushy fiddly.

I don’t think it really matters unless you are going to get really serious about it. I haven’t used SRAM - but only because all the running gear I have is Shimano.
Shimano chains are crap, the brakes can be flaky
SRAM - don’t seem to have the longevity or robustness of Shimano (in the group I ride with) - I can’t even remember what brand of brakes are SRAM, but I won’t ( but I am a Hope brake fanboi- I have always had them , and i guess i guess i always will!)
