What can the Admins do to help, any requests for changes, updates, etc.

Picture too large?

Post by Nidge »

Trying to add a pic to a post and getting "picture to large error" despite reducing it to 0.25mb. I've not had any problems previously so wondering if it's a bug?

I agree, i do still like to have the option to give people uploading factility and we have purchased plenty of bandwidth and hosting space, but if i'm honest it does add some complexities in things like backups, so my preference is to have things hosted outside of the forum. But the option is of course there to do via attachements.

Simple is relative... lol. I use FLickr which works great on desktop, but some forums (this one for example) it's crap when used from a mobile. Despite it's quirks on some places, i like it and pay £5 a month for it. Which is a bit daft in some ways as i could actually host them myself now on my own webspace lol

I always used Photobox until it became a paying operation, any of the above suggestions work well. I use Imgur.
