Speedblock Yamaha, yeah I guess.

I honestly can't even remember the XZ550 bikes anyway so can't comment on em.
What I will say is that sometimes just carrying momentum without much power can be really good fun.

And yes, riding an MZ TS250 was great fun (with decent tyres)
Even bland can be a type of character

I remember thinking of it as a smaller TR1. [retches uncontrollably]

I think I've only ever seen one of them in the wild, but it could equally be none, they got a good slating by the press when they came out.

It says something about a bike when the press rate it as worse than its only real competitor, the CX500

I had an XJ550 and remember the 750 Seca version. The Secas looked a bit American to me.
Mine just looked like a fat LC. Same wheels, paintjob and more or less tank shape

I was sure that BMW was a shit-fest yesterday and it went down really well.

This one i thought would be right up your street and you all hate it.

I'm not even sure what to go for next.
Well *I* like it :)

I've always liked the 70s endurance racer look, I like the classic speed block colours, I like the double decker exhaust on this custom.

And the engine wasn't bad at all - when it was running. The bike's biggest issue was tea trolley handling. A mate bought one cheap cos it was all he could afford and spent several years hanging on for deal life ;)
