Ohh that's rather nice.

It's not that interesting, but when I was in my late teens I wanted one of these so much it hurt!

Went to look at one in Transit Motorcycles in York, but it was £3500, I only had £2800 and he wasn't shifting, came away with a Bros 400 with only 500km on the clock instead.

If it was a grand cheaper I'd buy it just to finally say I had one.

I like how it's got the red seats... wonder if they'll fade to pink after a few years like the original R1 :)

"Paging Mr.Skub. Mr.Skub please pick up the white courtesy phone..."

http://www.bikebound.com/2021/03/09/kawasaki-kr800/

The engine, originally a 750cc unit, has been bored to 800cc, paired with Mikuni TM34 carbs and a trio of self-made pipes calculated to match the powerplant. The forks are from a Ducati, the swingarm from a Honda NC30, and the seat and tank can be adjusted to fit the rider’s needs.
