TBH, lens replacement scares the cr@p out of me ...

It did my wife and she’s very squeamish but in the end it was completely painless and simple ( 9 minutes per eye ) and done over a few weeks to ensure all was well before doing the next eye ..

I think that's common in advancing years (sorreee!). My granny, who was short-sighted all her life, ended up looking over the shoulder of the person in the pew in front to read her hymn book. It's why as you get older, you need longer arms to read stuff.

My uncorrected point of focus is beyond infinity (© Buzz Lightyear). My arms aren't long enough.
