I assume I am on some list somewhere, presumably for my heart valve issue as I'm only 43 and just had a text to book my vaccine. Got offered the flu vaccine this year for the first time too. Either way will snap that up

My wife has just had hers done. She is 56 and was contacted by her surgery to get it done, but she doesn't have any underlying health conditions? She does work in a school though, are they shortlisting critical workers so something?

Funny you should say that . . .

I ordered some stuff from Ali Express in January as a test as much as anything as people in the village rate them quite high. Some of the stuff arrived last week and I didn't have to pay any tax which is good and I'm expecting the rest in the next week or so. Not anodised tat for the boat though but some T track and clamps to improve the table saw and router table. I can get lots of different aluminium profiles locally but T track hasn't found it's way here yet.

The vaccine came out of the fridge so I didn't get to see the packaging. I'm not overly fussed about it's efficacy. If I get C19, maybe it'll mitigate the effects a bit and that'll do for me.

Turns out Mrs is getting the Pfizer jab today. It's anyone's guess what immunity an AZ jab, followed by a Pfizer jab a month later, then followed by a second Pfizer jab 12 weeks later, gives.

Mrs D has her first one next week. She's early 30s and only vaguely asthmatic....never been hospitalised with it. They're getting through them!

She checked with the Dr that there hadn't been a mistake. Dr said that everyone has been asking that.

Amazing , isn’t it. I’m asthmatic, diabetic ( in remission) and over 60. And not a sniff of an invite down here ...

She was 'hospitalised' once...she was working at the hospital at the time and had an attack on site, so they sent her down to A&E! Maybe thats enough. She didn't get any treatment but there will be a record of her presenting at A&E with Asthma.

To answer my own question, yes they are. All the teaching staff have been given a NHS website link and a code to enter and they can book their jabs at a variety of places, which also enables them to choose which vaccine they want! All have gone for the Oxford one?!
