Data fitness connector?

Post by v8-powered »

Anyone paid any attention to this bit of kit they are trying to bring to the market?

I'm considering buying - we have a Peloton bike that the wife so wanted despite me being happier with Zwift, now this gadget has come to market that allows all of the Peloton data to be used to run Zwift so am thinking could get best of both worlds?

sounds ideal. I'd be interested in the ergonomics of the Peloton bike regarding it's position relating to seat and cranks compared to a 'standard' bike.

The question is, if you wanted Zwift, why did you go Peloton in the first place? The concept though sounds ideal assuming it's calibrated, at the end of the day Zwift is just an algorithm that does power to weight to set a speed...

Peloton bike is pretty adjustable in height and reach of seat and bars - I'm 6'1" and wife is 5'3" and can both get a decent position.

I always wanted Zwift but wife was drawn to the while Peloton thing which I must admit is pretty good, I'd still have Zwift but the bike is in our home office so would be a bit busy with both a Peloton and Zwift setup.
Peloton are calibrated so assume that this widget just converts the Peloton data in to something that Zwift can run with.

I'll do a little more research but think for the sake of £100 I'll give it a shot....

Sounds like a good plan. I'm quite lacking in my Zwift thread, but it seemed to be of little interest, but there's very few days i don't get to ride/race. In fact i'll be racing in 40 mins time.

Well they've gone in to production and at $110 is doesn't seem too bad, think I'll get one on order...
