As I've said loads of times, I think it's the people who will change more than the cars. When it costs twice as much to own a petrol car over a battery one people will suddenly discover that they don't need to be able travel 500 miles at the drop of a hat. No, for uptake to work, it has to work for people. Just saying "you will have to" won't wash.
There will always be outliers, but they'll remain exactly that.
