Radio - Listen To The World With One Finger

Post by Phoenix »

A superb app service available for iOS, Android, Windows and whatever browser you use is getting rave reviews. Here’s the blurb from the iOS site.

“Radio Garden allows you to listen to thousands of live radio stations world wide by rotating the globe. Every green dot represents a city or town. Tap on it to tune into the radio stations broadcasting from that city. By adding new radio stations every day and updating ones that no longer work, we hope to give you a smooth international radio listening experience. Don't worry: the radio will keep playing, even if your phone goes to sleep.”

The service is based in the Netherlands.

I rate it 5/5. Lots of U.K. stations I didn’t know existed. Sure helps during the lockdown.

I think I’ll use the browser version until Apple releases the block tracking feature.

Been a fan for a couple of years. I love listening to sub-saharan African stations, but my go-to listen is DJAM in Paris.

Found a new radio app. Radio Tower. Got rid of the sneaky BBC Radio Player. This new one is so good it has a dedicated Bob Dylan channel and it’s free. Shame they don’t have a Cohen channel. Maybe soon.

Dylan streaming web site for those who don’t want the app.
