ZX10r service

Post by BARNEY 20 »

ImageSpring clean check on the Kawasaki ready for mot in march :banana-wrench: :banana-wrench:
Now I only change the ,coolant, plugs and filters as in oem manuals.Every second year the swing arm pivot and suspension linkages get stripped and greased. However the brake fluid is changed every year and the calipers spruced up.
On my inline 4 cylinder bikes the only thing I shy away from is the valve clearance check  .
When I first buy a bike I check the clearances for a piece of mind but after that if the bike is running sweet and starts from cold and over 105 degrees with the fan on with a single push of the starter then all is good for me.
My k5 thou had 2 shims changed at about 45k on the exhaust side and they were both within tolerances.
Anyway took one look at the kwack and thought fook it.
