I quite like the front end, it's got that evil sci-fi cyclops thing going on.

Yeah i don't mind the MT07/XSR700 at all. I think in many ways it'll be a brilliant bike.

I liked the earlier moto cage one, shame I'm 25 years too old for it's target market.

I don't like it at all, it looks unfinished, like there there should be another layer of bodywork over it.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 8:19 am I quite like the front end, it's got that evil sci-fi cyclops thing going on.

I liked my earlier one, good fun little bike that went well and prob one of the best small bikes I’ve had. Even went ok on track with a shock change

Of all the bikes I took to the annual Pembrey trip I think that was the best one, admittedly it had sorted suspension but still it was a quick little bike

Lol the other 2 you took a BMW r9t and an old shitter CBR. It wasn't exactly much competition.
You did more laps on 690s than anything else.

Oh yeah, 790 you sold to tricky at lunch and rode my 690. The 1090 you did 1 session and rode my 690
There's the answer!

I really just don't 'get' this hunched shoulders, praying mantis styling. It's just so predictable and boring. I really like the idea of Yamaha's MTxx range of bikes and the engineering involved but the styling leaves me completely cold.
