Price is steep but depends if you factor in fuel over say 3-4 years of ownership. I wonder how the price would work out then. I'm sure one of the clever bods on here could work it out.Taipan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:35 pmi'd love one, but the price has got to come down a lot first!KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 8:03 am https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZERO-FXS-ZF7 ... The miles/range would be the downfall still though. I could commute on it, but I couldn't say go see GP or Tricky and do a ride, because I'm then not going home for 7 hours.

Petrol near me at the moment is 114ppl.
If you say the average bikes does 50mpg?
Then it would cost you about a grand to do 10k a year.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
so over 4 years, £4000. Lets call it £500 for the electric one.... £3500 takes it down into the £8000 bracket. Which is reasonable for a new bike.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:54 pm Petrol near me at the moment is 114ppl.

But then only hardened commuters do 10k a year. I probably do nearer 3-4k on the bike if I don't do a tour.

I think it's alright, I think you'd have to develop a whole persona to go with it if you were to be seen on it in public though.Rockburner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 9:52 pmI quite like that....KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 9:34 pm It's my night tonight.
