Edit: That looks suspiciously like a 4 banger though? Mine (2000) must have been at the end of the stroker era for Peugeot...also the only 2 stroke 'bike' I've owned

A 93 Honda cbr 600 f2... It was the bike I bought after taking a break whilst starting a family. After the 70's and early 80's road bikes that had been before it was a revelation in the handling department. The Fireblade that replaced it some 5 years later was a disappointment.

Like this one on ebay but it had a reverse paint scheme with the red and purple swapped. Sounds gash but it was individual and I liked it.

Yamaha 2 strokes were very popular in the 70s and 80s, they were better than Suzuki or Kawasaki 2 strokes, and 4 strokes were slow and heavy.

We had one as the training scheme loan bike. I've posted (probably too many times ) that it gave me probably my best ever biking moment: flat out, downhill, leant over the bars, stretching the throttle cable and laughing out loud. Overtaking a 911, driven by the most bored-looking bloke.

I’ll go with the RD Yamaha that was my second bike after the KH250 that I started on.

My mate had a 250 that I may or may not have done a side panel swap with.

The quickest ‘250’ in town.

My first bike, in blue, aged 14 in the middle of Africa. Must have done 20,000 miles on it, all on dirt roads, before upgrading to a TS125ER. It put up with a lot of abuse and missed maintenance, never let me down once ....

Back in the day there wasn't much that could touch them if you were buying a small (<350cc) two stroke, until the RGV/KR1 came out.

The RD was the bike that a generation of hooligans grew up on, two generations if you include the air-cooled ones.

I know it's madness isn't it- I doubt it will go for that much but when 'peds are being advertised for more than X7s and RD 250s there's something wrong...
