Not really competing with the Z of course, but I reckon it kinda is with the Yamaha.

Re: XSR vs ZRS
Size was ok, physically smaller than mine but not in a bad way. It just felt a bit errrm shopping bike. But maybe that had a lot to do with it being virtually new and not mine. The clocks I hated lots.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 8:56 pmISTR you didn't get on with the size of it?weeksy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 8:55 pmRidden Trickys RS, I'd take the XSR all dayMr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 8:53 pm For nine grand I'm definitely having a Street Triple R over any of those.

I like that a lot. I think they do need a little bit of "customising" to finish them off. I think those lower bars would really work too.

Re: XSR vs ZRS
Neither of them would make ne want to change my 1200 Monster. my Late 2015 sub 10k mile version cost a fiver under £7k. If I swap it for another naked it would probably be a newer 1200S or a Triumph speed twin.

Re: XSR vs ZRS
Its such an epic engine though. With some touring coming up, I suppose a Multi is more likely.
I will get a test ride on a Speed twin once we are allowed out though.

Have you had your eyes gouged out with a rusty spoon and all sense removed, not only is it ugly, it's got a Chinese built Husqvarna engine, it'll shit itself big styleKungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 8:26 pm Lets mix this up a teeny bit.
So the RRP of a new council spec ZRS is £10,699
The XSR is £9,499.
How about this for £8,995?

Perhaps it's my imagination, but, reading between the lines there,I get a slight impression this bike may not be right at the top of your list.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 5:55 pm

If a Pug was a motorcycle...Potter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 2:30 am If we're going outside of the two bikes in the OP then there isn't a bad variety in that price range new, and loads of you buy used.
I'd definitely have this...

Then you've also got these to choose from and more (if you want new)...
