Just seems really really far away, so you've got loads of oil and loads more drag on the fluids from the inside surface of a long pipe. Dunno.

If it wasn't for the fact that we bought and fitted a QS last week this would be winging it's way to us by now. I was actually happy to forget the £400 we threw at the bike last weekend and just get the MV... Mrs Weeksy feels that would be wrong though.

Was a large thriving shop with it own cafe and Bimota, Kawasaki and Aprilia franchises. The carpark was always full of bikes, etc...
Then something happened maybe 10 years ago (the financial crash?), it's totally dead now, they don't have any franchises and no cafe, I'd be surprised if they sold more than a bike per month.

Absolutely no idea mate. There's one on the other side of the bike too.

What are the pipes running down from the tail unit towards the swingarm? Speaking of which, the swingarm looks like a piece of Meccano.

They'd be better routed attached to the frame. Not sure how the scrutes allowed it throughKungFooBob wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 6:42 pmYup, you can see it better in this pic...inewham wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 6:39 pm Its an oil cooler, I think - look at the pipes they have anodised nuts on the ends

Yeah, but the underseat pipe follows the frame, that'll just make the oil even hotter.Yorick wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 6:46 pm They'd be better routed attached to the frame. Not sure how the scrutes allowed it through![]()

Them pipes could so easily be ripped off. And nobody likes oil on track.KungFooBob wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 6:47 pmYeah, but the underseat pipe follows the frame, that'll just make the oil even hotter.Yorick wrote: Fri Feb 12, 2021 6:46 pm They'd be better routed attached to the frame.
