Re: Are Trump protests finished?
Some of you may have seen the article in Time Magazine. If it had appeared in some right wing rag you would have dismissed it as tin foil hattery.
"They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it."

I've read it. It sounds like rigging to me but what do I know?

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
Which aspects of that make you think it was being rigged?
It reads to me as if they went to a great deal of effort to get people to vote and make it fair?

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
More de-rigging than rigging.
US elections seem strange and rather less than democratic to me. All they seem to have done is to encourage more people to vote, and to ensure that those votes actually counted. They also seem to have encouraged people not to mount anti-demonstrations that would have led to violence.
Is that rigging? If so perhaps we need more of it.

A list of Trumps achievements taken from their gov website before Sniffy Biden quickly deleted it...

They moved it to the archives....'cause Trump ain't president any more and hence anything/everything he said is now a matter of historical record and not current policy.

They do that with all Presidents AFAIK.

I think the tone of the opening line tells you all you need to know about the impartiality, and by extension the veracity, of that "article"

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
Any president can post of massive list of 'achievements' * for the 4 or 8 years they were president. Thats just what happens when you're president of the worlds richest and most influential country. Obama and Bush's sites as above both have equally massive lists.
Is Trump's record any more or less impressive? Dunno. I doubt his legacy will go down in history (for 'good' reasons at least) but its impossible to say.
*quote marks because most politicians will claim anything they did as an achievement, regardless of what it actually achieved, if it achieved anything at all.

"a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it."
etc.
If you get the result you want then it's all legal and above board.
There's also stuff about postal voting. Postal voting is one of the easiest ways to enable voting fraud. Why do you think Jeff Bezos is against it when it suits him?

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
Meh....theres nothing in there about what they actually did which shows evidence of conspiracy to me. Quite the opposite.
OBOs post about Biden shows the problem we face here. It's assumed Biden took down Trump's achievement list out of spite or as some attempt of cover up. In fact the list was moved in exactly the same way it is for every departing president, but because of the pervading culture of suspicion (created in no small part by Trump) people assume something nefarious is going on.

He's made plenty of worthwhile posts, YOU and others still suffering from TDS choose to disregard them.

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
I thought that everything that was achieved in the first 4 years of a presidency was down to what was done by the outgoing president.OBO wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 11:36 am A list of Trumps achievements taken from their gov website before Sniffy Biden quickly deleted it...

It’s funny that they (assuming DEADPOOL and OBO are more than one person) don’t thank you for correcting them.
They just come back with more shit.
Re: Are Trump protests finished?
I'd be more impressed if any of them were in any way true. I scanned the first few pages and it's all just nebulous propaganda mixed with outright lies.

Worth noting that Trump was in favour of it when it suited him.
Even bland can be a type of character

Re: Are Trump protests finished?
When was that? (I gave you a link. Admittedly it was to The Guardian*, but hey, it was one of the first hits on Google.)
* Wrong about everything, always.**
** That may not be absolutely true but it's the way to bet.
