My handlebars used to belong to Dave Degens.
As did anything anyone bought from Dresda Autos, if you think about it!

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
It's a very common Kawasaki thing. A rock hard, crappily damped rear shock. The front end on the ZX7R was great. (in it's time)
My 04 ZX10R had a rep as a widowmaker, imo this was down entirely to a shit rear shock and soft front end,fix that and you have a great bike.
Most big K rear shocks are pretty much rubbish.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
My 7R was just as bad, OK on the road but on a hot track day the damping went out the window as the shock over heated.

There were some properly ugly bodykits around for bikes in the 70s, weren't there?

The old stuff really doesn’t do much for me but I do have to agree with you on this one.

Stolen from the Knox Friendface page...

Felix Béla Bettenworth from Landshut sends us his dad´s Yamaha TDR250 with a RD350 ypvs (upgraded to 390cc) engine, ZX10R front fork (+20mm), Öhlins shock, self weldet Aluminum swing arm, 17 Excel wheels, adapted Racing-Exhaust, V-Force with 35mm Keihins, carbon fairing, R1 brake caliper and Magura Brake pump. An insane project! Thanks for sharing!
It's not pretty, but I'd love a go.
