Waiting really is INCREDIBLY hard isn't it.... I just don't know how people have patience !!!

It's keeping me awake at night LOL.

I'm still fighting the urge on what to buy/not buy for it. I've got a radiator guard due from Tricky as it doesn't fit the 890R, but other than that i'm sitting fighting the urge for the exhaust really.

I'm still torn on which if any to go for. I put a bid in at £400 for the Akra that was on Ebay, but it sold for £450 which is a bit steep.

They don't come up very often, especially at the moment.

On the waiting side tell me about it. Not riding the 690 is starting to boil my balls.

Double pipes make no sense here, or have any benefit.

But they look very cool

Well no slipon is going to give much in the way of performance either way, it's either for aesthetics or weight (which lets be honest doesn't matter)

exhaust arrives today.... But i'm wondering if it's a mistake and i should go for the single instead.

I'm now thinking it just looks a bit cleaner and flows with the lines of the bike better

Somewhat surprisingly, i'm leaning towards the long single, the twin, i dunno, maybe i'm a bit old fashioned, but it's.... well... challenging to me.

Dual with 2 long ones, then yeah, i'm seeing it...

Exactly where I'm at. The twin set up cans are too stubby for me and look like cut down streetfighter cans. A twin can set up is a lovely and balanced look but needs those cans to be a 4-5 inches longer. That said, photos are one thing IRL thing soften look a lot different.

I've been thinking about the dual cans and I think if the bike was stripped back, tail tidy, rear footpegs removed, destickered etc the dual pipes would like great, but on a standard bike they look a bit too custom for it? Does that make any sense lol?

Well i took them out the box, visualised them on the bikes, looked at the pics, look again, looked once more, then went back inside, then went back out to the box and looked at them again...

Then sent them back via courier to be swapped for the single can.

It may be only mine and a few peoples choice, but it's what i'm going with.
