Engine fully refurbished by previous owner 2017.
Carbs are Mikuni VM32ss oval bores full race homolagation fitted with dyna jets.
Last Dyno’d 125 BHP
GSX 750 frame braced at headstock and rear down tube, bespoke rear subframe.
Early ZX10 wheels fitted with brand new EBC Front discs, AP Lockheed calipers mounted on bespoke carriers, rear Suzuki GSX on custom carrier
Running a dead loss Full Dyna ignition

Engine fully refreshed 2017 by previous owner
Race cams
High compression pistons
Lightened crank with generator removed
Carbs fitted with velocity tubes
Scitsu Rev counter
Oil cooler
Engine breathes into custom under seat catch tank from crankcases and rocker cover
Venhill QA throttle
Rear suspension is Ohlin fully adjustable for compression & rebound
Front forks are fully serviced Suzuki with uprated springs
Avon AM22 & 23 Tyres having had little use

I believe this to be a very competitive bike both powerful and Reliable

Carbs are a bit small for an 1170, which is probably why it's a bit down on power, I also wonder why they used a 750 frame, 1100 frames are neither rare or expensive, and the only difference is the location of the engine mounting points

Probably didn't want to spunk a grand on a set of RS36s, it'll be a torque monster but I wonder if he's getting the benefit of the cams with wee carbs.

I think CRMC rules say you have to have round slide carbs on a bike that age, best would be Keihin CR35s, these are good for 140bhp on an 1170, they do cost £1200+ though.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Katanas and by the looks of it that ones fairly fettled but those colours are pretty gopping.
