Discussion and debate is good.

Arguing to the death is bad. It was getting tedious with same old bullshit.

USA - 25,817,939 cases, with 436,051 deaths - a fatality rate of about 1.7%

Current USA population - 332,156,187 project that death rate across the nation = 5,646,655 deaths.

That's quite a few people to right off.

There might be some confusion between cases and infections here.

Why?
Zx is mixing up the difference between "percentage of the population killed by Covid" and "percentage of covid patients who die" again.

They were reporting on the numbers for Calizuela & stated that "the soaring death rate now stands at 1 in every 1000 people". Would you like a calculator?

Mass panic media frenzy for the past week over the "UK strain" (which we can say, but not China virus) in Big Bear. Warning for people to stay away blah blah blah.

This morning they reported the number of actual cases: FOUR, & two of those have recovered.

Perhaps not worthy of its own thread, but this is the leaked white paper setting out reform in the NHS. Lots more on integrated health systems and the SOS having more power. Not the worst suggestions btw- I’m just concerned about timing.

Boris making capital out of the success of the vaccine rollout. As long as he doesn't let Doormatt Hancock or Dildo Harding near it.
